*Oprah is on the move, like always. She’s gearing up to begin her show, “Oprah’s Lifeclass” on her OWN. The talk show will be used to teach viewers lessons worth learning about anything in life.
“My greatest desire is to fulfill the highest, truest expression of myself as a Human being,” she wrote in a Facebook note to fans. “I’m still on that journey. If that is your desire as well, join me every night as we explore new ways of looking at Life, and how it works for all of us.”
But she has other things on her mind as well. In Oprah’s note, she expressed her grief about the state of the world.
“The world is a mess. We all know it and talk about in our private lives. It’s depressing and overwhelming at times to look at how much potential we have and yet we’re constantly bombarded by images and information that speaks to the lowest common denominator. We can do better. We can be better. I know it’s true.”
The world is a mess? That’s the truest statement that I done heard all day. Number (1): Poverty is more prevalent than at any time that I’ve ever seen. Yet, the politicians (and voters) cater to the top one percent of the population, and people are still suffering. There is no way that this nation (and world) should have poverty anywhere. NO excuses! Number (2): Guns are WAY too accessible. There are too many crazy (and stupid) people out there for us to have such an easy time buying guns. Guns should be BANNED from the earth. Number (3): Everytime I look around, Education is being cut. We are gettin’ dumber by the day, and Education seems to be very low on the priority list nowadays. Meanwhile, crime is rising. Number (4): DRUGS…WHY is everybody around me gettin’ high?!! and why can’t we at least slow down the flow of consumption in the African American community?…especially among the young folk… and Number (5): Anyone that decides to become a parent should have some sort of a license or permit or somethin’ because there are a lot of dumb ass mommas a poppas out there. Have ‘em to take a multiple choice test, or somethin’. Everytime a look at the news, someone is doin’ somethin’ STUPID to endanger their child. …If we could clean up these things, the world would be more tolerable, but that won’t happen. I guess I’m a cynic.

Oh, I thought she, Shirley Maclaine, Tom Cruise, and that other funny-looking pig-face cult leader that came on her show – had all the answers to everything,,,they didnt need God/Jesus…all they had to do is evoke the god in them or channel some spirits for the answers?
