*The Game’s forth studio album “The R.E.D. Album” has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, the West Coast rapper has sold 98,000 copies of his latest album, making it his third chart topping effort following 2005’s “The Documentary” and 2007s “LAX.”
As previously reported, Game has also written a book to accompany the release which includes anecdotes about working alongside Rick Ross and producer Pharrell Williams.
It’s expected, however, that Lil Wayne will knock him off the top spot next week with his newly-released “Tha Carter IV,” which is predicted to sell around 900,000. Last week’s No. 1 album was “Watch the Throne,” a collaboration album between Jay-Z and Kanye West.
