The Game arrives at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE on August 28, 2011 in Los Angeles

*The Game has jumped to another playing field.

The rapper, real name Jayceon Taylor, has added author to his repertoire with the release of his new book chronicling the making of his CD, “The R.E.D. Album.”

The rapper shares a series of anecdotes and stories from behind the scenes of his latest release, including his memories of working with rapper Rick Ross and super-producer Pharrell Williams, in his new book “The Making Of Game’s The R.E.D. Album.”

He also explains how he managed to convince Dr. Dre to let him use their collaborative track, “Drug Test,” for his album, instead of the producer’s  long-awaited “Detox” disc.

“These are my stories in my own words,” The Game tells WENN. “This book is the only place where you’ll learn all the stories behind the music – how I got the beats, what inspired my lyrics and how the album was put together.”

“The Making of Game’s The R.E.D. Album” is currently available only digitally, but will soon be made available in print and as an audio book.
