*Kevin Durant showed off Monday night at Harlem’s Rucker Park scoring a phenomenal 66 points on the court. Despite the NBA lockout, the pro-baller is finding ways to showcase his talent and continue his development as an athlete.
The Oklahoma City Thunder player helped bring the DC Power to victory over the Sean Bell All-Stars with a tight score 99-93.
He had the crowd going, especially when he made five three pointers in a row, three of which were well beyond the NBA three-point range. Altogether, he made nine of his 11 three-point attempts all night.
However, his performance is only second rate to the recorded best game at the park. According to the New York Post, Joe “The Destroyer” Hammond shocked audiences with 74 points in 2007 and former Iona Gaels player Steve Burtt Jr. scored 67 points.
