*Bravo announced today that it has green-lighted a new special called “The Kandi Factory,” which follows “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss as she tries to build two pop stars from scratch.

“With her breakout personality and straightforward attitude, Bravo fans have grown to love Kandi on The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Bravo’s VP of Development Eli Lehrer says.  “The Kandi Factory will capture a unique look at her successful music career as Kandi transforms two music hopefuls into the next big pop star.”

Ever since Kandi produced the hit single “Tardy for the Party” for vocally-challenged cast mate Kim Zolciak, pop star wannabes have been bombarding Burruss for help in launching their musical careers. On the special, the Grammy-winning housewife will choose two performers who will come to Atlanta and learn the basics for music stardom from Burruss and her team, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Burruss is a singer/songwriter and producer who won a Grammy for her work on the TLC hit, “No Scrubs.” She’s also a former member of the platinum-selling girl group, Xscape.

While no airdate was given for the special, Burruss returns with the fourth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Nov. 6.
