*Jason Derulo, currently promoting his second album “Future History,” is denying he’s in a relationship with “American Idol” winner Jordin Sparks.
The reports hit the Internet in force this week from an Us Weekly story that had “confirmed” the pair was indeed an item, but Derulo set the record straight in an interview with CBSNews.com.
Asked to comment on the alleged relationship, he replied, “Jordin Sparks is an absolute sweetheart. She’s a very nice girl. We’ve been friends for a while now. We’re just friends.”
The original Us Weekly story claimed Derulo had begun pursuing Sparks romantically once she lost weight, with an insider saying Jason saw her “in a whole new light” during a recent trip to the Bahamas, adding, “She lost over 30 pounds and looks amazing – and he told her. It started there and they have been really reconnecting, now as lovers and not just friends.”
Typical, these days its popular to date someone and deny it. Welcome to the steretypical relationship fearing black man. This is stupid, if you take someone to the bahamas then you’re definately beatin that up!!! This is one of the things black women complain about! At least say we are seeing each other but it’s nothin serious right now!!!! Shit burns me up, cuz I want her for myself!
