*Three-time Academy Awards host Steve Martin has penned an open letter to upcoming Academy Awards host Eddie Murphy on his website, stevemartin.com.
The veteran comedian, who starred opposite Murphy in the 1999 comedy ‘Bowfinger,” hosted the Oscars two times solo and the third time as a co-host – the latter, a move he doesn’t recommend.
