*Soulja Boy’s controversial anti-military track “Let’s Be Real” will not appear on his upcoming album, “Respect My Hustle,” his rep, Debby Coda, confirms to TMZ.com. Additionally, she says the rapper’s management team and record label have been trying to remove the song from the web since Friday.
She tells TMZ.com it was “hastily and foolishly posted to the Internet” and wasn’t approved for the album. She also says it will never be available for purchase.
Soulja Boy (full name: DeAndre Cortez Way) says he’s also willing to perform free shows for the military and meet with service members to make up for the song, which includes lyrics, “f–k all the army troops.”
As previously reported, Souljia Boy apologized on Tuesday in an essay on GlobalGrind.com.
“When I expressed my frustration with the US Army, not only did my words come out wrong, I was wrong to even speak them. So, I write this to give my sincerest apology to all members of the United States military services, as well as their families that were offended by my most recent lyrics,” he said.
“As a young man who grew up in the post-9/11 era, I have watched our country fight two wars that seem like they are never going to end,” he continued. “I have seen thousands and thousands of our brave men and women get killed in battle and often times, I think for what? A lot of people in this country are struggling to make ends meet and I think a lot about what if we had never gone to war.”
Some troops have not accepted his apology. Sgt. Dunson, a U.S. Army Combat Veteran and aspiring rapper, posted his own video on his website. “What an ungrateful little f–ker,” he wrote. Watch below. Warning: NSFW.

Is it not the truth that Obama is spending $900 million a week on wars, with no purpose, except to make more enemies for America. How about the lives of the 1384 US soldiers which he has taken away permanently from their loved ones in his short 2 and half years as president?
BTW, do you have a loved one that is numbered among Obama’s body count?
So you are a proud veteran. What are you proud of? To be part of a military which invades defenseless countries, occupying them for decades, while murdering and humiliating their men and women, even executing their babies?
I find no pride in a military which allows itself to be utilized by corrupt politicians in such a dishonorable manner. If they don’t care about their own lives, how about the fact that these crooks are bankrupting the country?
But I see a “proud” veteran like you don’t have a problem with that. Even when the reputation of the military is at stake. Our military now has a reputation around the world of rape and plunder. Defenseless men are gunned down in Iraq and Afghanistan, with our own government participating in the cover up. Look how those journalists were slaughtered by the soldiers from that Apache helicopter. And what did our president do when it was revealed? Nothing more than to get his attorney general to come up with trumped up charges against Wikileaks. Recently it was even revealed that a whole family, including children, were slaughtered by a group of soldiers.
Where is the honor?
Look shythead, you not going to hear me going around using empty terms like I’m a “proud” veteran. But as a veteran, I care about the military and fellow servicemen. That’s why I can’t stand to see the likes of Obama, Cheney and Bush using the military to fulfill their own selfish agenda. We talking about mofos who either never served a day in the military, or tried to avoid active duty. No wonder they find it so easy to use the military in such a dishonorable manner. Bush used the military to settle a personal score with Saddam, along with paving the way for his corporate cronies to come in and defraud both the invaded country and America itself. Recently, they found out that these contractors have already defrauded the country over 30 billion. In Obama’s case, it’s nothing but to look tough in front of conservatives who always dogged him for being soft on terrorism and national security. Never mind the trillions and hundreds of lives wasted in the process.
But maybe you, like Obama and the neo-cons, are just sick fucs with no conscience, who takes pleasure in raping and pillaging defense countries for profit, and in Obama’s case, in a vain and futile attempt to gain approval from people who everybody knows will never approve of anything he does.
