Kerry Washington attends an evening with Ralph Lauren hosted by Oprah Winfrey and presented at Lincoln Center on Oct. 24, 2011

*For the second time in their careers, Kerry Washington and Jamie Foxx will play husband and wife.

The latest turn comes courtesy of Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming Western “Django Unchained,” where Washington will play Broomhilda, the wife of Foxx’s Django. The pairing comes seven years after they were married on screen in “Ray,” playing Ray Charles’ wife Della Bea Robinson.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Don Johnson, Kurt Russell and Samuel L. Jackson round out the cast.

As previously reported, “Django Unchained” will be Tarantino’s homage to Spaghetti Westerns. The film follows former slave Django, who heads back to the plantation to free his wife from owner Calvin Candie (DiCaprio). Along the way, he gets help from a bounty hunter (Waltz).

“Django Unchained” is currently slated for a Christmas Day release in 2012.
