*Actress Gabourey Sidibe was not shy when it comes to exposing her real feelings about Eddie Murphy, her co-star in “Tower Heist.”

“Have I ever had a real crush on Eddie Murphy? I don’t know if you’ve seen him in ‘The Golden Child,’ but he wore a lot of leather suits, and there’s nothing sexier than a black man in a leather suit,” she told reporters at a recent press conference for the film, opening Nov. 4.

“I was really afraid of that scene where I had to flirt with him – up until when Brett [Ratner] says ‘action.’ Then I kind of just like let it go and was like, ‘Hmm, let’s see if I can bone Eddie Murphy,’” she continued. “So it was like literally me flirting with him, just because I had to. It was a lot of fun. It was the only scene in the movie that I did that wasn’t written. It was completely improvised.” [Scroll down to watch the scene.]

Gabby said the only intimidating thing about that scene was having to match Murphy’s comedic skills.

“It’s definitely intimidating because Eddie Murphy is really, really extremely funny, and it’s been proven,” she says. “Now – I think I’m funny, and my mama thinks I’m funny, too. But I don’t know that I’m really funny unless I’m standing next to Eddie Murphy having to be in a scene with him and be as funny. So that was really scary.”

In “Tower Heist,” Sidibe plays Odessa, a maid who joins a crew of fellow employees in an exclusive, high-end apartment building to plot revenge on a Wall Street businessman (Alan Alda) after he squanders their pension money in a Ponzi scheme. Murphy plays Slide, an ex-con who helps the inexperienced group steal their money back.
