*In another custody development between Halle Berry and her ex Gabriel Aubry, a judge has rejected the latter’s request to ditch his nanny-supervisor while he spends time with their daughter, Nahla.
According to TMZ, Gabriel was trying to amend his visitation rights, which require a nanny to be present while he’s with Nahla. Gabriel claimed he wanted more alone time with his daughter; Halle opposed the change.
The judge issued an order yesterday, siding with Halle, upholding the original agreement requiring supervised visitation on Gabriel’s part, TMZ reports.
Sources tell TMZ, Gabriel is upset and he feels the nanny is ruining his relationship with his daughter.
Meanwhile, Aubry has been accused of neglect and verbal abuse of Nahla, according to witnesses cited by Berry in court papers obtained by The Star earlier this month.
A particularly bitter blow-up occurred in February of 2010 according to the quoted witness. Berry returned from a trip and found Aubry at her home and told him to leave or she would call police.
He screamed that she was a “‘ghetto ni***r’ and threw a chair against the wall,” the witness is quoted as saying. “Halle was shaken and sobbing.”
The incident was not unusual, according to the witness.
Gabriel hated that Nahla was mixed race, a colleague of Halle’s claimed according to The Star. “He never wanted her hair to be braided, and he always said that Nahla was white.”
Friends tried to get him to understand that being mixed was part of her and Halle’s heritage, but he wouldn’t hear it …’

So what did he actually do to be put under this type of restriction?
Was he abusive or negligent in some way?
I first remember hearing some crazy shit like this when Russel Simmons got divorced.
They both had to do something to be restricted in this manner around their own children.
I mean, if you have to be supervised around your own children, then doesn’t that essentially eliminates your role as a father? Isn’t a father’s role to be a protector to his offsprings?

I never understood why Gabriel Aubrey agreed to have that as part of his visitation agreement. There is something sinister about insisting a father have someone around to ‘supervise’ visits with his children. It’s as if the court and the mother think the father will abuse or molest his child or children.
I’m sorry that Gabriel didn’t get the agreement amended. But, he should have never agreed to it in the first place.
MzTee I don’t understand him agreeing with that either. Why would he think being supervised to be around his daughter was a good idea? Did he not understand what “supervised visits” meant? I blame him for agreeing to that in the first place if there was no valid reason to have his visits supervised.
That might have been the only way he was gonna be able to see his daughter. Maybe if he didn’t agree, all visitation would have been OUT. But I wonder also, why he would have to have a nanny around as well?? Something don’t smell right…

If you NEED to be supervised around your on damg kids, then you don’t need to be around them AT ALL! That is crazy! I understand if your a druggie and you have reformed and your trying to establish (back) a healthy relationship with your child, but in the best interest of the child, someone is around to monitor INITIALLY, but he has been with that baby from birth, so I too wonder what on earth justifies him having to be supervised, court ordered by a judge!
This is a munch of Hally BS. Is she wanted a child all to herself she should have gone to a sperm bank. He was supposely the most wonderful father in the world even after she had hooked up with some other dude shortly after their breakfast. It’s not unusual for non-Black mates to resort to this type language. If you read the article again, notice that the negative statements about Aubry are from “witnesses cited by Berry”, or “a colleague of Halle claimed”. There are three sides to every story. I would like to hear his point of view.
Yes, Halle totally screwed over David Justice. She ruined a lovely man with her sh*t! Every man that has ever been with her has made statements to the fact that the b*tch is psycho. The MSM and Oprah have ignored them all.

I believe he agreed to the supervised visits because he can’t afford to keep fighting her in court every month and was probably advised by his counsel that they would eventually transistion to a an unsupervised manner over time after review. Everytime he tries to change it, Halle’s gonna come up with something else he’s supposedly done and her paid cronies with co-sign everytime.
I feel bad for him and that child is in training to be just as f’ed up as her trifling momma.
Everything should not be targeted in such negativity towards Halle Berry. If Gabriel is having issues with the child’s ethnicity he should have thought of that before he formed a relationship with Halle in the first place. There is always the chance that a child can be conceived which leads to the fact that birth control should not be left in the hands as far as responsibility to the woman all of the time! The child is here now and she is very beautiful whatever race that she is considered to be and now it is time for him to suck it up and accept it; maybe he does need to have supervised visitation because if he cannot accept who Nahla is regarding her complete racial ethnicity then there will be no threat of him talking negative; confusing and teaching her against who she is. Bottom line: 1. They have conceived a child 2. The child needs love and encouragement from both parents. 3. The parents need to put aside what differences that they have and be supportive to Nahla. 4. They need to forgive each other and get on with their lives. AND 5. Prayer ~ They need to lift their child up in prayer.
