*The drama behind the first break of Destiny’s Child isn’t quite over and it seems it will never die.

In the life of LaTavia Roberson, there’s always space to talk about the horrors she and her former band mates encountered while working with Mathew Knowles.

She told the UK’s The Mirror that he was much like a tyrant and even made Kelly Rowland cry.

“We used to call him Joe Jackson. It’s not like he beat us or anything, but he was very strict,” LaTavia said. “Beyonce was the only one brave enough to stand up to him. We worked really hard. It was rehearse, rehearse, rehearse. That’s what our days consisted of. Looking back, working that hard did cost us our childhood. But at the time were just focused on living out our dreams.”

She added that Rowland was always the object of his aggression, often resulting in hurt feelings.

“He was very hard on her. He bawled at her after a gig in Atlanta in 1997. ‘Where were you tonight Kelly? I watched you mess up 12 steps,” he said. Kelly was the sensitive one so she would go to her room and cry.”

Further, she commented that her biggest regret was not speaking to Kelly and Beyonce before submitting a letter requesting new management. She also added that money was a sticky topic with Knowles, often leaving her wondering if she was getting fair pay.
