*The new Season 11 promo for “American Idol” had its premiere during Game 4 of the World Series Sunday night, and although the first episode is still three months away, the trash talk is already beginning.

Rival singing competitions “The Sing Off” and “The Voice” have not quite reached the ratings of “American Idol,” and as its chief nemesis “The X Factor” begins live shows on Tuesday, it remains to be seen whether the vehicle produced by his former “Idol” colleague will grow to be as popular among fans as “Idol.”

As far as “Idol” judge Randy Jackson is concerned, his show has absolutely nothing to worry about.

Below, the new “American Idol” promo features judges Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez, and host Ryan Seacrest walking down a street toward a theater featuring the words “AUDITIONS TODAY” in the marquee. The four turn around to the crowd following them, and Seacrest asks: “Are you ready?”

“Idol’s” Season 11 premiere is Jan. 22.
