We have been trying to tell our children for years, “If you grew up during our time, you would be pickin’ up your teeth from various locations” or “If you grew up during our time, the teacher would beat your butt, then the neighbor if your mama wasn’t home, then your mama when she got home.”

I don’t know ’bout that “neighbor” getting in on it but, rest is on point.
I highly doubt this lady is a child abuser. It sounds like to me she is simply from the old school and didn’t play and when this bad ass little girl kept cutting up, the old school came out. What should we expect from a 7 year old with baby hair and extentions? If more teachers were like her, I guarantee, test scores would go up and kids would be more respectful in the classroom. My youngest daughter had a 2nd grade teacher who had retired from the NY Public School System and believe me when I say, SHE DID NOT PLAY. My daughter is a straight A student in high school…but she never forgot Mrs. Fowler and how she simply did not believe in kids cutting up. I told her, should my daughter EVER cut up in class, you have my permission to beat her ass needless to say, it never got to that point. That lady was so damn mean but she was so loved by all the kids…
If more teachers were like her???!! Good lawd I for one would be locked up some where if this were my child!..She wrapped her legs around the little girl,wrapped a jacket around her neck, choked her everytime she moved?? Then dragged her from the play ground to the office…Oh he!! NO!
I wonder if this same idiot teacher would’ve done the same thing to a white child? This teacher is a jackazz, I hate it when black people think its ok to beat on a black child because that’s “how WE did it back in the day” when we misbehave. Thankfully my parents never gave neighbors or teachers permission to “beat” us. I see why her old abusive azz working with elementary kids, had she tried this with high school students this story would’ve had a different outcome.
