*NBC’s newest (potential) sitcom, “1600 Penn,” may have been “inspired” by the first family.
According to reports, former speechwriter Josh Gad created the show with a script written by Jon Lovett, who was a former speechwriter for President Obama.
But it’s a more comedic perspective on the presidential family.
It will revolve around “a dysfunctional family that just happens to live at the most famous address in America.”
NBC is currently in a “put pilot commitment” in which the network will be forced to pay penalties if the show does not debut.
