Sam Worthington and Anthony Mackie on the set for their new film "Man On A Ledge," New York City.

*Anthony Mackie recently gave EURweb the scoop on his role in the upcoming film “Man on a Ledge,” which stars Sam Worthington as an ex-con who is threatening to jump from a Manhattan hotel rooftop.

The film won’t hit theaters until Jan. 27, 2012, but Mackie gives us the “jump” on what to expect.

Without giving too much away, he says of his character, “I’m the black friend”…but, not to be confused with Charlie Hunnam’s black friend Terrence Howard in the similarly-titled “The Ledge.”
