*It’s only been about a decade since singer Betty Wright made some music and it’s never too late to make more.

The 57-year-old veteran soul shouter has teamed with The Roots, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg and British songstress Joss Stone to produce her latest album, “Betty Wright: The Movie,” due on the streets November 15.

The title is inspired from the artist calling herself a griot, an African storyteller.

“You can usually see what I say,” she says. “I decided that each song would be a vision that you could take to the screen … 14 songs equal 14 movies.”

Known for her 1971 hit, “Clean Up Woman,” Wright has earned 15 Grammy nominations, and has reached incredible heights in the R&B music industry.
