Niecy Nash Joins Cedric The Entertainer in ‘Hot in Cleveland’ Spinoff Pilot

*Comedic actress Niecy Nash may have a new permanent role in a Cedric The Entertainer show. She’ll play the wife of “Reverend Boyce” in a TV Land “Hot in Cleveland” spinoff pilot.

Cedric will play the role of a preacher who just moves to St. Louis to make peace with his wild past. But his challenge will be made public as he dukes it out with his old ways in front of his congregation and family.

Production for the new show is set to begin Dec. 2.
