*TMZ is reporting that singer Tionne Watkins, a.k.a. T-Boz of TLC, has filed for bankruptcy.
According to docs filed last month in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, T-Boz owes creditors $768,642.99 — mostly from mortgages on her $1.2 million house, the website reports.
The documents also show she takes in $11,700 per month in income, with monthly expenses totaling $8,821.
Although TLC had ten top ten singles, four number one singles, four multi-platinum albums and four Grammy Awards, T-Boz only earns $1,200/month in royalties, according to TMZ.
She needs to get a real job like the rest of us and stop living beyond her means.
How do we know she is living beyond her means? She has at least 2 well know medical conditions and possibly no medical insurance and she also has a child. So I don’t know her problems and neither do you! So lighten up do YOU know if she can work???? Maybe she can’t she has sickle cell and she had a brain tumor OK
The first thing I’d do is get rid of the million dollar mortgage and let my monthly royalty payments take care of my rent.

I’m so sick of these celebrities living beyond their needs & waiting till the last minute to fix their situation. If you know your having issues paying the mortgage or whatever else that may be- downsize , re-do your finances & getting a 2nd job wouldn’t hurt!

I don’t know her situation at hand – but “common sense” would dictate if you are having a problem with paying your bills you need to downsize your quality of life…period! If she’s receiving $1200.00 a month in royalties (especially in Atlanta) there’s several places (good neighborhoods) she can reside until her finances are resolved! I am just saying here – she needs to dump the big mansion, sell a few mink coats and get rid of the Louis Vuitton assessories and re-align her lifestyle! Good luck Crazy, Sexy and Ms.Cool (T-Boz)!!!
