Shirley Murdock Stars in Christmas Musical at the Apollo

*Veteran soul and gospel singer Shirley Murdock is showing off her God given gifts and her latest album, “The Journey.”

And there’s more. U Gospel reports that the singer is launching a new project for the holidays. She’ll be debuting a holiday musical called, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.” Look for her performance on December 18 at the Apollo Theater in Harlen, NY.

Murdock co-stars with R&B singer Freddie Jackson in the comedy that also features Lisa Page Brooks and Sam Logan. The singer plays the role of a feisty pastor’s wife who keeps order in her husband’s church and has her eye on her son being paroled from prison right before Christmas.
