*BCNN1 reports that a number of conservative and Christian groups tied to urban communities are coming together to influence upcoming elections.

Members of  “E Pluribus Unum” — which is Latin for “Out of many, one” — plan to raise more than $10 million to advertise and mobilize minority voters to support conservative values.

Bishop Harry Jackson, the group’s chairman, said supporters will push Christian values, but try to frame them in more secular terms.

“Our goal is to continue what we’ve been doing for many years — activism. But doing it in a way where anybody in the country can say, ‘Yeah, I agree with that,’” he explained.

The new coalition will also advocate conservative solutions they say will bring better jobs, housing and health care to urban areas.
