*A recording school created by rapper Nelly’s in his hometown of St. Louis is finally scheduled to open next week.
Vatterott College Ex’treme Institute by Nelly-St. Louis is set to begin classes on Nov. 28, according to Allhiphop.com.
The 9,000 square-foot facility, located at Laclede’s Landing in downtown St. Louis, houses a recording studio, a music engineering space, and a design studio. Students enrolled in the program create album covers, recordings and other merchandise and music related material.
The school seeks those who wish to become professionals in a variety of sectors in the music business.
