**Our condolences go out to singer Bobby Brown. His father, Herbert Brown, passed away on Saturday after a long bout with cancer according to TMZ.

Herbert Brown was 82. He was affectionately known as “Pop” and appeared on the reality shgow “Being Bobby Brow.”


**TMZ is also reporting that Katt Williams just won back custody of his 8-year-old adopted daughter — after the girl’s nanny allegedly lied to a judge to take her away from him … this according to new legal docs.

Williams filed new legal docs in L.A. County Superior Court — claiming McGhee as a fraud … a former nanny “with no parental rights,” who hasn’t worked with the family for years. The judge has since overturned the previous order.

Perhaps her motivation was collecting California parental perks otherwise known as government benefits


**The remake of “Sparkle” and if you’re wondering when you can expect to see it theaters, the release date has been released. IndieWire is reporting that Sony Pictures says that the film will hit theaters on August 10.

The new “Sparkle’s” cast includes Whitney Houston, Jordin Sparks, Tika Sumpter, Mike Epps, Cee Lo Green and Derek Luke. Original music for the film was created by R. Kelly.
