*R&B group Boyz II Men will be honored with the first star of 2012 on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The quartet-turned-trio’s 2,456th star will be located near legendary Motown artists The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, The Miracles and The Temptations outside the Live Nation building, according to organizers..
The unveiling ceremony will take place on Jan. 5.

You need to know the criteria for getting a star. It’s evident that you don’t. NAME THOSE “Johnny come lately’s” as you stated that are no where near as successful or talented that have a star. I’ll wait.
