*VH1 produced another show-stopping tribute for the “VH1 Divas Celebrate Soul.”
This year, he show paid homage to soul music and celebrated the cities that contributed most in to its development like Chicago, Detroit, London, Memphis, and Philadelphia.
Performers included Chaka Khan, Mavis Stapes, Martha Reeves, and Wanda Jackson. Other new school singers like Kelly Clarkson, Ledisi and Jill Scott repped hard for new-soul.
Mary J. Blige also showed out with diva Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody.” Estelle, Marsha Ambrosius and Erykah Badu sang Soul II Soul’s “Back to Life.”

I agree also, I was all ready to enjoy some good singing and performances and it was a big azz disappointment. some of the duets the voices di not gel well together.
