*Rapper Gucci Mane walked out of jail last weekend after serving less than half of his six-month sentence.
The artist, real name Radric Davis, was sentenced in September following his conviction on two counts of battery, two of reckless conduct and one charge of disorderly conduct. He tried and failed to appeal the sentence in October.
Davis was reportedly released from a Georgia county jail on Sunday (Dec. 11), and now he’s determined to put his legal troubles in the past.
“This is the last time I think I’ll ever by in jail. I really feel that way,” he tells XXLmag.com. “It was a time for me to sit back and just refocus the whole way I do things, man. The times away from my fans just made me want to grind, get in the studio, go to my shows and appreciate my job and what I do now.”
Davis’ recent crime was connected to an April case in which he was charged with pushing a 36-year-old woman out of his moving vehicle.
