*Khloé Kardashian has recently joined the ranks of racist celebrities.

There were many celebrities out there who used their social media platforms to inspire and uplift people after the New Zealand mosque shooting. The world definitely needed such messages after a white supremacist had shot down around 50 people while they were worshiping in two mosques in Christchurch.

It Was Definitely Not What She Meant

Kardashian tried to follow the trend of inspirational messages on social media and tried to come up with her own. Still in the midst of tragedy, people all over the world read her social media post and it all backfired. This certainly wasn’t what she expected and intended to do though.

“Love Is the Only Cure”

On her Instagram story, Kardashian had shared a picture of a T-shirt that read, “Love thy neighbor, thy homeless neighbor, thy Muslim neighbor, thy Black neighbor, thy gay neighbor, thy white neighbor, thy racist neighbor…”

There is nothing wrong with the picture, but it was the caption of this picture that really riled up people who viewed the post. The caption of this Instagram post read, “Love is the only cure.”

So What’s Wrong With the Caption?

Viewers of this Instagram post were sent into frenzy because they were really outraged by the fact that she would ask people to love racists in the wake of such a tragedy. This is where people began retweeting her post with their own captions.

We could see people saying things like, “Imagine having a black daughter and saying love thy racist neighbor…” Well, of course Kardashian DOES have a black daughter. Another Instagram post read, “You couldn’t even love a woman who your baby daddy kissed but want your BLACK daughter and everyone else to love racists?

Why We Aren’t Surprised

Well, this is because the Kardashian’s have been blamed of similar events in the past. They had come under fire for their racist posts in the past and they have been accused of racial appropriation more than once.

Khloé Kardashian had even caught a lot of fire in the past for actually sharing a picture with the world from her photo shoot. In this picture, Khloé could be seen standing beside a kneeling model called Slick Woods.

Still, we would like to give Kardashian the benefit of doubt because she has yet to address the situation. Hope she chooses her words wisely this time!
