*A film that’s been sitting in the vault for several years is finally getting released … via DVD.
For whatever reason – “Mama I Want to Sing” starring Ciara, Lynn Whitfield, Patti LaBelle, Hill Harper and Ben Vereen – didn’t get a lot of attention as in a theatrical release that we’re aware of when it was completed several years ago. However, it is one of those feel good movies with a big budget. The good news is the DVD release is set for Valentine’s Day (2012) through Fox Home Video Entertainment.
