Sugar Ray Leonard attends the 2011 UNICEF Ball presented by Baccarat held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Dec. 8, 2011 in Los Angeles

*There aren’t too many people in this world that get boxing great Sugar Ray Leonard tense or uneasy — be they inside or outside of the ring. But he opened up to us about three men who do.

One is Muhammad Ali.

Leonard said he was blessed enough to have dinner at the champ’s house one night.

“I sat down beside him, and I had a million questions to ask him,” Leonard tells EURweb. “I was so nervous. I looked up at him and was like, ‘Oh my God.’”

Not only was Leonard nervous being in the presence of ” The Greatest of All Time,” but he also stressed over covering up his lack of knowledge regarding fancy table settings.

“They had all these utensils [around the plates]. At my house, we just had one,” he said. “So I’m sitting there, I don’t know what to do. So I watch Ali, and he takes his bread and he dips it in some gravy. So I did the exact same thing.”

Below, he talks about the two other iconic figures that made him nervous upon meeting them for the first time.
