*News anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have reportedly hired high-powered attorneys to lead their legal fight against ABC following their alleged ouster from the network.
We reported previously that the loved-up duo may not be coming back to the third hour of “Good Morning America” following the network’s investigation into their affair. According to US Weekly, “multiple sources” tell the publication that Holmes and Robach are out.
“Amy and T.J. are out, a decision has been made,” a source told Us. “The network is negotiating with them on their exit deals and an announcement.”
Robach and Holmes have been temporarily benched from anchoring their GMA3 show following reports about their scandalous affair. Insiders claim Holmes is a serial cheater who has allegedly made his way through multiple female colleagues at ABC. Page Six reports that Holmes had an affair with at least one producer and another staffer while married to attorney Marilee Fiebig.

Robach and Holmes reportedly did not begin their passionate romance until after their longtime partners were no longer a factor. Robach is married to actor Andrew Shue and both she and Holmes have been married to their spouses for 12 years. Holmes recently filed for divorce from his estranged wife.
Meanwhile, insiders tell Page Six that “people are frustrated” with ABC News boss Kim Godwin over the handling of the Homes-Roback situation.
Godwin reportedly told staffers that Robach and Holmes would not appear on air as their relationship is a distraction, Variety reports. Per the outlet, the network “wanted to do what’s best for the organization” despite Robach and Holmes’ relationship not being a violation of any company policies.
According to TMZ, Holmes and Robach are planning a lawsuit against ABC — and they could use the race card. Amy has hired attorney Andrew Brettler and T.J. has reportedly lawyered up with Eric George.

We’re told the lawyers will pose this question to ABC … “Has ABC ever used the morals or conduct clause to fire or discipline 2 consenting adults at equal levels when both were white?” The sources go on to say it would be telling if this is the first time ABC invoked the morals clause under these circumstances … with a Black and a White anchor. The sources go on to say the damages could be enormous if their reputations and careers are ruined as a result of discipline by the network.
ABC has not given a public update on the status of Robach and Holmes with the network.
