*Lately, Taraji P. Henson has been showing off her acting skills on her new CBS drama, “Person of Interest.” The actress plays the role of tough-girl Detective Carter, a woman who yells quite a bit.

“Yeah, she’s pretty tough. She’s seen some things, done two tours, but she’s one of the good cops. I know sometimes cops can have bad reputations but there are good cops that exist and she’s one of them,” she told The Huffington Post.

The show has a strong foundation in vigilante justice, despite the main star being a cop.

She added that, it’s alright as long as no one is getting hurt.

“As long as no one’s getting hurt and as long as it’s safe. But that’s the thing about it, you don’t know. You have no idea. That’s why cops take a risk; that’s why there are laws to prevent people going out and doing things.”

With her new show in hand, the actress certainly has built up a nice portfolio of big screen gigs. This is her first small screen deal and right now she’s loving it.
