*The stellar 89th annual Christmas ball of the Brooklyn-based Comus Club, Inc. attracted the crème de la crème of African American society at Terrace on the Park in Flushing Meadow Park, Queens, New York on Friday evening, December 30, 2011.
Over 1,200 glamorous guests attended the invitational only post-Christmas celebration hosted by Brooklyn’s oldest private gentlemen’s club and featuring delectable food, premium libations, soulful dance music and brimming over with beautiful people.
Playing host to the who’s who in Black society was 75 Comus Club, Inc. members including officers Bernard “Bernie” Drayton (president), Michael Forth (vice president), David White (financial secretary), Edward “Ed” Rhodes, Jr. (recording secretary) and Howard Dabney (treasurer). Phillip Berry served as chairman of the ball.
