Parents Of Hazed FAMU Student Say He was Gay

*The parents of a FAMU student who was hazed to death have revealed he was gay, according to CBS News.*

Close to two months after the death of Robert Champion, his parents have revealed their son’s sexual orientation adding another layer to the already controversial case.

Champion was murdered November 19th in a harsh beating in one of the school buses by fellow band members.

He reportedly was beaten due to numerous things — his sexual orientation and opposition to hazing which he was highly vocal about.

Champion’s family is set to sue Florida A&M next week, and the band’s charter bus company.

  1. This is truly sad. These universities are well aware that hazing takes place in these student organization and its been going on for decades. It is unfortunate that a life had to be taken away to present this as a serious ongoing issue.
