50 Cent*Man, you can’t just say anything on these social media sites.  Things never come across correctly and rumors get started. 50 Cent didn’t seem to heed this info recently when the blogosphere flared up about some questionable statements he made.

He tweeted: “I don’t think I’m gonna live much longer,” and left it like that.

One can only suspect he did that on purpose.

At any rate, he attempted to explain himself after people were left musing, “Is he thinking about suicide?” or “Was that cancer movie real?”

He told CNET it was a huge misunderstanding:

“You only got a certain amount of characters [on Twitter]. What I was trying to say is, what do you want your legacy to be? I want to be more than a guy who was able to create a few cool songs or was able to memorize the lines and have a decent performance in film projects. I want to be someone who impacts a lot of people’s lives in a positive way, so I’m a little more conscious of the things I’m doing in business to try and give back and make a difference.”

Meanwhile, the rapper and entrepreneur recently released the Sleek headphones and introduced the world to energy drink, Street King.

Just in case his vast business growth wasn’t enough proof that he’s not suicidal, he assures the fans, foes, and friends, he’s all about living right now.

“I do believe life is short,” he said. “And because humans are habit-forming and we look forward to the future and don’t want to think about — we all got bank accounts — tomorrow’s not promised, so you’ve got to be conscious of today.”

Ok Fif, whateva.
