*Tessa Thompson and Zazie Beetz have each landed major roles on the big screen.

Thompson will reteam with her “Thor: Ragnarok” co-star Chris Hemsworth in Sony’s “Men in Black spinoff under director F. Gary Gray, sources tell Variety.

The original movie followed Will Smith and Tommie Lee Jones as agents of a secret organization, known as the Men in Black, who protected Earth from intergalactic foes. Sony’s update was fast-tracked earlier this fall for a May 17, 2019, release.

Along with “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thompson can be seen next in HBO’s second season of “Westworld” as well as the sequel to “Creed.” She was also recently seen in the Sundance pic “Sorry to Bother You.”

Meanwhile, “Atlanta” star Beetz and Dakota Johnson are in talks to join Armie Hammer’s untitled thriller for Annapurna, Variety reports.

The film follows a New Orleans bartender (Hammer) whose life begins to unravel after a series of disturbing and inexplicable events transpire when he picks up a phone left behind at his bar.

Annapurna is fast-tracking the project, having already set a March 29, 2019, release date. “Under the Shadow” helmer Babak Anvari is writing and directing the movie, with Lucan Toh of Two & Two Pictures, Christopher Kopp of AZA Films, and Annapurna Pictures all on board to produce.

In addition to season 2 of FX’s “Atlanta” Beetz also plays Domino in the upcoming “Deadpool 2” and recently wrapped production on Steven Soderbergh’s new film, “High Flying Bird.” She has a recurring role in the Netflix series “Easy” as well.
