*Since day one, the Obamas have been targets for mainstream media’s racial taunts and not-so-politically correct commentary. In the latest bit of hot-breath-hot-mess, first lady Michelle Obama has been accused of being the model “angry black woman.”
So she spoke with Gayle King on the CBS “This Morning” show about the various images others have made her out to be.
“I guess it’s more interesting,” she said, “to imagine this conflicted situation here and a strong woman and a, you know… But that’s been an image that people have tried to paint of me since, you know, the day Barack announced; that I’m some angry Black woman.”
She added that despite people’s negativity, she’s still hopeful minds will change and America will get to her better.
Speaking of knowing people, Obama admitted she hasn’t read the controversial book, “The Obamas” despite the accusations that she cursed the White House adviser Robert Gibbs.
But she’s not sweating the small things.
“That was one of the things from the book that I heard. Robert Gibbs is a trusted adviser. He’s been a good friend and remains so,” she said. “And I’m sure that we can go day to day and find things people wish they didn’t do to one another other or said.”
