*You saw the promo for it on the season premiere last night – all four judges of NBC’s “The Voice” will join together to perform a medley of Prince songs on tonight’s “Super Monday” episode.
Yes, Blake Shelton, too.
The promo capped a post-Super Bowl premiere that was highlighted by homeless dad Jesse Campbell delivering a version of Donny Hathaway’s “A Song for You” that caused three of the four judges to turn their chair around after just the opening line. [Scroll down to watch.]
The promo for Monday’s two-hour broadcast (8 to 10 p.m.) included a snippet of Shelton sharing the stage with fellow judges Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine – all singing music from His Royal Badness.
Here’s the scoop. It starts off with Aguilera leading “1999,” then rolls into Cee-Lo taking the lead on “Little Red Corvette,” then Levine pouring his falsetto into “I Wanna Be Your Lover.” Shelton wraps the medley with a country version of “Kiss.”

I love this show!
It’s the only one of the shows of this kind that I can watch. It has a wonderful vibe. It also doesn’t feel like it’s a setup from the beginning unlike other shows that feature or have featured a particular individual that is only interested in seeing one type of person in their little narrowed-minded world get ahead.
I like this show as well, at first I wasn’t so sure about the premise but it has grown on me and I appreciate what the sow has to offer. I particularly kike the playful teasing between the judges when they are trying to convince the contestant to join their team. Cee-lo and Adam have great sense of humor.
