One of life’s elemental aphorisms gets hilarious treatment in this “battle of the sexes” classic comedy, “David E. Talbert’s ‘What Goes Around Comes Around’.” Slick, confident ladies’ man, Tyree Jackson’s (Wesley Jonathan, Roll Bounce), main objective in life is to slyly slip women in and out of his apartment while his live in girlfriend, Desirae Baxter (Reagan Gomez, “Parenthood”), is at work. Well aware of his philandering ways, Desirae and her girlfriends conspire to give Tyree a taste of his own medicine in a big way! This celebrated cast also stars comedians Tony Rock (All of Us), Lavell Crawford (Shaq’s Comedy All-Stars), and film and television stars BeBe Drake (“Martin”) and Tico Wells (Five Heartbeats).
David E. Talbert’s 13 critically acclaimed productions have garnered an unprecedented 24 NAACP nominations including winning the award for Best Playwright of the Year in 2001. His blockbuster plays, novels, and film include: Love in the Nick of Tyme, Mr. Right Now, The Fabric of a Man, Baggage Claim and First Sunday, just to name a few. David’s current touring production, What My Husband Doesn’t Know, has been a box office record breaker.
