economy*Sorry Mitt, Newt, Donald, GOP … but the economy is looking better.

The Labor Department says the U.S. economy added 243,000 jobs in January — the fastest growth since April.

Economists had forecast a gain of 125,000 in payrolls and for the jobless rate to remain at 8.5%.

  1. Reds says:

    Oh, my, God. Not again.
Just when the Republicans thought they have Obama beat, the economy comes to his rescue.

The last time it was the Republican orchestrated economic collapse. This time, it’s Barack putting it back together piece by piece.

But by now you would have thought the American public would have learned. The Republicans rip the economy apart, only for Democrats to come in and try to piece it back together. Then the whole cycle repeats.

So maybe this is not necessarily good news for the Dems. Unless they can sustain the recovery right up to the election, this may all be for nought.
