Reggae Star Elephant Man Goes to Jail for Rape

*Elephant Man was arrested Monday (Jan. 30) after being accused of raping a woman in his Jamaican home. The victim’s name has been withheld pending an investigation.

The assault took place earlier this month at his St. Andrew’s residence.

The Dancehall artist was questioned in front of his lawyer by authorities and was subsequently arrested and charged for sexual assault and rape.

This isn’t the first time he’s gotten himself into some trouble. He was charged with energy theft after police discovered several appliances in his apartment that were connected to an illegal connection.
