*Academy Award fever filled the air Wednesday at the elegant L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The private roof top bungalows framed by the slopes of the Hollywood Hills served as the perfect venue for the pre-Oscar swag party presented by Secret Room Events and The Humane Society.

Among the celebrities sited where Kimberly Elise, actor Lorenzo Lamas, Stephen Bishop from the forthcoming movie “Battleship,” Constance White (Editor and Chief of Essence Magazine), Los Angeles KTWV radio personality Pat Prescott and new modeling sensation Massiel Tavares, former Miss Domican Republic Universe.

EURweb was there to feast upon an array of delicacies and trinkets made available for celebrities and invited media.  The short list of exquisite vendors include the new Wolfgang Puck coffee line, Whitening Lightning teeth products, Portobello Jewelry, Regina Calderone Photography, the new Jock Soap company, Universal Angel Wings, and who we deem as a top contender to clothe the newly born diva Blue Ivy, the ritzy and chic designs of Giavanna’s Closet.

But in the category of The Ultimate Best Swag Grab Bag “I can’t believe this is free” item, the Award goes to the neatly packaged and stylish smokey gray parker jacket and beach shorts from Lole’ Active Wear.  In the category of the Best Idea For Sight Enhancement For True Divas Whose Gaze is in need of Optical Assistance, it is unanimous, the winner is Blinks, by Girl Powered, Inc.

The Secret Room by The Humane Society is one of many events taking place in tinsel town this week leading up to the 84th Annual Academy Awards, which will broadcast live from Hollywood on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 7 pm Eastern and 4 pm Pacific Time on ABC.
