*While you’re watching commercials during the time outs in the big game today, be on the lookout for “X Factor” champ Melanie Amaro who stars with Sir Elton John in a Pepsi Commercial.
The royal-themed spot features John as a king waiting to be entertained. Naturally he’s he’s bored to death with the contestants until Amaro comes before him with her glass-shattering vocals — which just happens to be from her new single, a remake of Aretha’s “Respect.”
Needless to say, she gets her Pepsi and pulls a switcheroo on the mean king.
