*Whitney Houston touched many, including media mogul, Oprah Winfrey.
The former talk-show queen announced that OWN will be airing a special program in honor of the singer.
The special, entitled, “Remembering Whitney: The Oprah Interview,” will premiere on Thursday night. The show will be a re-airing of Oprah’s 2009 interview with Houston, one of the most candid moments the singer has had on television.
She even opened up about the drugs and abusive marriage she was in with Bobby Brown.
After news surfaced of Houston’s death, Oprah solemnly expressed her gratitude and grief via Twitter.
“To me Whitney was THE VOICE. We got to hear a part of God every time she sang. Heart is heavy, spirit grateful for the GIFT of her,” Oprah wrote.
