*The 70′s bombshell, Pam Grier, has a lot to say about the direction of Hollywood these days.
She was known as a strong, sexy, shut’cho mouf black sister back in the day. And even now, she’s still holding her own, but she doesn’t see an easy walk back into movie roles.
According to the Winnipeg Free Press, Grier, 62, is upset that the Hollywood studios are still underrepresented by African Americans.

I’ve always wondered why two of the biggest african american stars in hollywood, Denzel Washngton and Samual Jackson have never spoke out on african americans getting more work in hollywood. Could it be because there always working, making 20+ million per picture and probably don’t want to mess up their hustle defending their people? Yeah, I think that’s it. Anyway, Tyler Perry, thank you for giving our people a chance to use their skills and get a paycheck.
I’ve always said Black folks need to start they own Hollywood. Take an example from Nollywood (Nigeria film industy) What Pam Grier saying is nothing new, Black people should just pool they money to start more film studios like Tyler Perry.
