Katy Perry presents an award to Carolina Panthers' Cam Newton during the inaugural NFL Honors show Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012
*Hmm, it looks like singer Katy Perry likes what she sees in Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Cam Newton.
Perry, soon to be divorced, served as a presenter at the Associated Press NFL Awards in Indianapolis on Saturday.
The “Firework” singer apparently couldn’t pass up the opportunity to flirt with co-presenter Newton, telling him: “You’ll be the first straight man I’ve had a photo with in a long time, so live up to it.”
The Carolina Panthers star smiled big and coyly replied, “I am.”
Newton won the 2011 offensive rookie of the year award.
Perry’s husband, comedian Russell Brand, filed for divorce earlier in the year from the “Firework” singer.
Perry was also in Indianapolis to perform at DirectTV’s pre-Super Bowl party on Saturday. She is in the process of being divorced from comic actor Russell Brand.

We know how this story will end…he’ll end up marrying some Becky that works the concession stands and have kids and next thing you know, she’ll be filthy rich at his expense…he had a white girlfriend in college so its no surprise he’ll end up with one.
