According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mowry will star in “Mistletones,” an ABC Family movie set to air during the network’s annual “25 Days of Christmas” programming.

Mowry stars as Holly, a singer who auditions for the Christmas-caroling group her mother founded 40 years ago, the Mistletones. As previously reported, Davis’ co-star in “The Help,” Octavia Spencer, has been cast in the sci-fi indie “Snow Piercer.”
