*A visably shaken Wendy Williams shared her sincere observance of Whitney Houston’s passing on her television show Monday, February 13, 2012.  She spoke of “the interview”and admitted that outside of that interview, they had never met in person.  The sharp tongued Williams who bears little restraint when it comes to her queries of people in the news, vowed no further comments about Whitney Houston.

However,  Williams spoke to RadioScope & EURweb founder Lee Bailey about that interview, while it was still fresh on everyone’s mind. It was February 2003 and the then WBLS, New York, radio host had reached the pinnacle of success in that arena and was on her way to television.

When it came to industry gossip and headline news, she gave it to her audience straight with no chaser.  There’s even a sense of bravado when calling out a celebrity on any of their alleged actions.  Wendy Williams was New York’s Queen of Talk, who was often very forthcoming about her own life.  She spoke candidly with Lee Bailey about Whitney Houston.
