She scored what could be considered the biggest “get” of the year so far: an interview with Whitney Houston’s daughter and other family members for a TV special that will air on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).
Bobbi Kristina, Whitney’s only child, now 18-years-old, will be featured on “Oprah’s Next Chapter”
The program will also include Patricia Houston, who’s the singer’s sister-in-law and manager, as well as Whitney’s brother Gary. It already has a March 11 airdate.
According to an OWN news release, Bobbi Kristina will share “personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered. The family also addresses the rumors and speculation surrounding Houston’s death.”
Bobbi Kristina has been the subject of speculation herself, with numerous reports suggesting that she has spiraled downward since her mother’s death.
Whitney Houston was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Feb. 11. An exact cause of death has yet to be determined.
Houston was 48 years old. Bobbi Kristina turns 19 Sunday.
