*One of the biggest corporations in the world, McDonald’s, is getting ready to transition leadership as the 67-year-old CEO, Jim Skinner, retires.

He’ll be handing over the big responsibility and snazzy title to Donald Thompson, who’s been with the company for 22 years. Thompson is responsible for growing the company through global strategy and operations.

Did we mention that Thompson is Black? He’ll be the company’s first African American to helm the reigns since it was founded in 1955.

Thompson, a fresh young 48 will fit the bill just fine granted his long history with McDonald’s.
