John Legend Hooks Up with Showtime for New Music Series

*Showtime is on the verge of adopting a new music series produced and hosted by Grammy Award winner John Legend.

The untitled show, according to Deadline, will feature top artists from all over the music spectrum who will perform original music and unique collaborations in front of a live studio audience.

Fans are in for a treat for the first episode. Country super star Faith Hill will perform live her latest single, “You’re The One Whose Waiting,” along with an appearance by rapper B.o.B.

The project had a private taping recently at the historic EastWest Studios in Los Angeles. By the way, the show wrapped with a live rendition of “Son of a Preacher Man” with Legend on piano, Hill on lead vocals, and an original rap written and performed by B.o.B.
